Facebook is better than Google

On the Facebook press conference on Wednesday, when the social network to work with Skype has announced to set up a video chat, Mark Zuckerberg was asked by a journalist what he + Google thinks. The response was relatively nonspecific. He said that many companies already have tried to build up video chats, but the big advantage of Facebook is that the competition must first build the social network, so the chat will work. Facebook itself would be only innovative in that it with 750 million users already have a large network.

"Killer feature" video telephony

That's right, of course, does not a network without users, the question arises, however, is actually a video chat "killer feature"? Also, MySpace had a video chat, also together with Skype, but this was hardly used by the users. At the launch of UMTS video telephony, the ultimate "killer feature", it has never been enforced. Nevertheless, try Apple with Face Time, hangout with Google's group chat and now Facebook hype together with Skype video calling. It remains to be seen whether users accept them.

Groups against groups

But Mark Zuckerberg not only the new video chat tossed into the race against Google +, but also said that Facebook and its groups offering better features than Google + with his circle. His argument is that groups are created by a few people, but being used by many. In contrast to the counties to Google + So you have to invest less work to his friends and acquaintances into groups. Just a click and you are a member of the group. His argument is confident that users do not want to create friends lists, which it partly is certainly right, but assume it is relatively easy to create loops, so you have to wait and users the opportunity.

User numbers

The argument of the number of users must also be questioned. Of course, Facebook has more users than Google +, but Google also has some members of its other services such as YouTube meets, Blogger or Gmail and Google makes this entry in Google + surely just a click away. Not to be forgotten is Orkut , a social network by Google is flopped in Europe and North America, but in countries such as Brazil or India as much as 100 million users.

Facebook is undoubtedly the king of social networks, but has apparently found with Google + a serious challenger and also know Mark Zuckerberg. (Soc) http://www.desktophelp.in/forums/portal.php
